About Apple Fest

Apple Fest started as a parish picnic and grew, year by year, into the weekend Utica plans around. For more than 30 years it has run on the same idea: neighbors cooking, serving, parking cars and calling bingo so that the money stays in the community.

Everything the festival raises goes to St. Lawrence parish, St. Lawrence Catholic School and its athletics.

About 60 volunteers each run an area — the bakery, the midway booth, parking, the pub — and the directors keep it all pointed the same way.
